The Fam & the Farm

About Us...

WHO ARE WE?

The inspiration for our farm name came from song lyrics by one of the bands we love, Over the Rhine. In their album "Meet me at the Edge of the World" in a song titled "Called Home", they write "out here we've learned to keep the edges wild". So we call our farm Edges Wild Farm because we want to keep the edges a bit messy for the wildlife, the plans held a bit loosely to give ourselves some space to breath, and to hold an intentional winding philosophy to remember life is about journey, not the destination (nod to Brandon Sanderson!).

We aren't really homesteaders, but we do enjoy producing some of our own food. We are more interested in being good environmental stewards and less focused on self sustainability. Community means a lot to us, and we could not do what we do without friends and family who help in so many ways.

More About the Farm

There's lots more going on here beyond lambs and stained glass. We have ducks, chickens, eggs, flowers, veggies, dogs, and cats.
